---1974, a young woman (Cindy) was asked to construct a beautiful yet inexpensive wedding dress, after years of designing and constructing her own custom clothing.
---1986, she joined forces with her husband, Gary Heuer, to co-manage Culligan Water Conditioning in Southeast Missouri, creating personal bonds with thousands of local customers.
---2013, Cindy purchased a new state-of-the-art sewing machine and enrolled in classes in hopes of re-igniting her old hobby.
---2016, she left the water business in order to re-pursue her passion of custom-clothing construction, embroidery, and alteration.
---2017, Mrs. Sew and Sew was established to bring affordable and custom-made clothing or alteration and repairs to the same community that she's grown to love so much.
